Terms of service
TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 07/19/26
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Riley Rides Garage website and purchases from Riley Rides Garage, operated by Riley Rides Ebikes LLC.
By accessing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, warranty disclosures, product-page notices, and any other terms presented at checkout.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase a motorized product from this store.
You may not purchase a product for a minor without accepting responsibility for appropriate supervision, training, safety equipment, legal compliance, and use.
2. PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION AND LEGALITY
Electric dirt bikes, e-motos, e-bikes, and similar products may be classified differently depending on their power, speed, equipment, intended use, and the laws of the jurisdiction where they are operated.
A product’s use of terms such as “e-bike,” “electric dirt bike,” “e-moto,” “off-road,” “street,” or “street legal” does not guarantee that it may legally be operated on every public road, bike lane, sidewalk, trail, park, or other property.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for a specific product and jurisdiction:
• Products capable of exceeding local e-bike limits should not be assumed to qualify as ordinary bicycles;
• Off-road products should not be assumed to be registrable or road legal;
• A VIN, certificate, MCO, lighting kit, or similar feature does not by itself guarantee registration;
• Registration, licensing, insurance, equipment, age, helmet, and operating requirements may apply; and
• The purchaser is responsible for checking applicable federal, state, county, municipal, trail, park, and private-property requirements before purchase and use.
We do not provide legal, licensing, registration, insurance, or tax advice.
3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Motorized riding involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions, loss of control, equipment failure, property damage, serious injury, paralysis, fire, battery failure, and death.
By purchasing or using a product, the purchaser acknowledges these risks and agrees to:
• Read all instructions and warnings;
• Wear appropriate safety equipment;
• Obtain proper instruction and supervision;
• Inspect the product before each ride;
• Maintain the product properly;
• Use the correct charger;
• Observe rider-weight and operating limits;
• Avoid riding while impaired;
• Keep batteries away from heat, flames, water intrusion, and physical damage; and
• Operate only in locations and conditions appropriate for the product.
Nothing in these Terms releases any party from liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
4. ASSEMBLY AND PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
Some products require professional or customer assembly, adjustment, charging, and inspection.
Unless assembly service is expressly included, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is properly assembled and inspected before use.
Critical items may include brakes, handlebars, steering, axles, wheels, suspension, fasteners, tire pressure, chain or belt tension, electrical connections, throttle operation, lights, and battery security.
We strongly recommend assembly and inspection by a qualified bicycle, motorcycle, or powersports technician appropriate for the product.
Do not ride a product that is damaged, incorrectly assembled, making unusual noises, displaying an error, overheating, or behaving unexpectedly.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We try to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, photographs, prices, availability, range, speed, power, weight, and estimated performance.
Actual results may vary based on rider weight, terrain, temperature, wind, tire pressure, riding style, speed, mode, battery age, state of charge, maintenance, configuration, and measurement method.
Photographs may show optional accessories, prototypes, international versions, preproduction components, or colors that differ slightly from the delivered product.
Manufacturers may make reasonable running changes to specifications or components. When a material change affects an order, we will attempt to communicate available options.
Obvious typographical, technical, or pricing errors may be corrected. We may cancel and refund an order affected by an obvious error before shipment.
6. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including:
• Product unavailability;
• Pricing or listing errors;
• Payment failure;
• Suspected fraud;
• Export or geographic restrictions;
• Delivery limitations;
• Supplier refusal;
• Compliance concerns; or
• Quantity limits.
If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled merchandise.
7. PAYMENT AND FRAUD REVIEW
Customers authorize us and our payment providers to process the charges presented at checkout.
High-value orders may be held for verification. We may request reasonable identity, address, payment, or delivery confirmation before fulfillment.
We may cancel an order when verification cannot be completed or when an order presents an unacceptable fraud or delivery risk.
8. SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND TITLE
Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
Risk of loss and responsibility for the product transfer as provided by applicable law and the applicable shipping terms. Nothing in this section overrides nonwaivable consumer protections.
9. BATTERY SAFETY
Lithium-ion batteries store substantial energy and require careful handling.
Customers must:
• Use only an approved compatible charger;
• Follow charging and storage instructions;
• Charge in an appropriate, dry, ventilated area away from combustible materials;
• Avoid unattended charging when prohibited by the manufacturer;
• Stop using a battery that is swollen, punctured, wet, crushed, overheating, smoking, leaking, damaged, or producing an unusual odor;
• Never open, crush, modify, bypass, short, or improperly dispose of a battery;
• Follow applicable transportation and recycling rules; and
• Keep batteries and chargers away from children.
Contact emergency services when a battery fire or immediate hazard exists.
10. MODIFICATIONS AND COMPETITION USE
Aftermarket controllers, batteries, motors, firmware, speed settings, tuning, wiring, connectors, chargers, tires, brakes, suspension, and other modifications may affect safety, legality, reliability, range, and warranty coverage.
Racing, stunt riding, jumping, overloading, water exposure, unauthorized tuning, bypassing safety systems, and using incompatible components may cause failure and may exclude resulting damage from warranty coverage.
11. WARRANTIES
Products may include a manufacturer’s limited warranty. The applicable written manufacturer warranty controls its coverage, duration, exclusions, and remedies.
Except for express written warranties we independently issue, Riley Rides Garage does not create additional manufacturer warranties by describing, demonstrating, reviewing, or selling a product.
Any disclaimer or limitation of warranty applies only to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain implied warranties.
12. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
We may link to or sell products supplied, fulfilled, financed, warranted, or serviced by third parties.
We are not responsible for the content or independent acts of unrelated third-party websites and providers, but this does not eliminate responsibilities imposed on us by applicable law.
13. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
By submitting a review, photograph, video, testimonial, or other content to us, you confirm that you own or have permission to submit it.
You grant Riley Rides Ebikes LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, edit for length or formatting, and use the submitted content in connection with the store and its marketing.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riley Rides Ebikes LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or products.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability relating to a transaction will not exceed the amount actually paid to Riley Rides Garage for the product giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Riley Rides Ebikes LLC harmless from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use, unauthorized modification, resale misrepresentation, violation of another person’s rights, or violation of these Terms.
This provision does not require indemnification for our own conduct where prohibited by law.
18. DISPUTE NOTICE
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to send a written notice describing the dispute, requested resolution, order number, and supporting documents to:
Riley Rides Ebikes LLC
rileyridesgarag@gmail.com
The parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days after receipt of the notice.
This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a remedy that cannot legally be restricted.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction’s mandatory consumer law applies.
Any court proceeding that may lawfully be restricted to a forum must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in [CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
20. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
21. CHANGES
We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and updating the “Last updated” date.
The Terms in effect when an order was placed generally govern that transaction unless a change is required by law or accepted by both parties.
